Long Island is the home of hundreds of road races and thousands of long distance road  runners.  These events range in distance from one mile to 50 kilometers and are open to  runners of all ages and abilities.  Many of these races are sanctioned by USATF and        courses are certified by professional course certifiers.

The USATF-LI Grand Prix Series of Road Races is the crown jewel in our Long Distance Running program. We thank this year's sponsors - Runner's Edge, Simmons Jannace & Stagg. To all Meet and Road Event Directors:
USATF Rule 144 prohibits the visible use or possession of personal entertainment or communicative devices in competition. Violators are subject to disqualification.
